OurSCHOOL Spring Update:
Listening, Learning, and Acting
Spring is here, the days are getting longer, and the end of the school year is approaching quickly. At The Learning Bar, we’re supporting clients as they plan and design their spring surveys. As divisions reflect on the issues most affecting students today, growing interest in AI makes this an ideal moment to capture student perspectives on the topic.
How we can support you
Our research team can help you customize your survey with AI‑related questions that are both actionable and specific to your school community.
- Gauge general attitudes towards AI usage.
- Understand how students are currently using AI.
- Capture ways to use AI to better support student learning.
You can also explore our Knowledge Base for resources on creating custom questions.

Leveraging past survey data with students
We are also supporting our fall and winter survey clients as they take action on their data. Below are two key resources to support this work in schools:
The Student Voice Action Plan is practical worksheet to help teams examine how they currently engage students using OurSCHOOL data and create an action plan for improvement.
Designed to be used collaboratively with students, the Students Using Data worksheet provides a great opportunity for students to become involved in data analysis and feel included in school growth planning.
