Preparing students for life beyond the classroom requires insight into the skills that help them think critically, collaborate, take ownership of their learning, and participate responsibly in a changing world. New OurSCHOOL Future-ready Skills measures give schools and systems a research-based way to understand students’ perceptions, experiences, and self-reported behaviours in these important areas.
Read the accompanying infosheet for an overview of the Future-ready Skills measures and how they can support student success.
Schools can select from eight new measures to support student voice, whole-child learning, strategic planning, program evaluation, and school improvement.
The English-language measures are available for students in Grades 4–6 and 7–12 as part of a live pilot. Measures can be selected individually, allowing schools to focus on the competencies most relevant to their priorities while helping inform the final measures and future reporting.
